Paths of Love and hate

Phil’s 2nd anthology – Paths of Love and Hate – is available now from Amazon.

It’s a collection of works featuring 200 all new poems exploring aspects of modern life, great loves and relationship breakdown, the threats of the future, environmental and artificial, mysteries, memories, fantasies.

Phil hopes that this compilation will bring readers a smile but also warns that certain works about relationship difficulties ‘may sting a bit’ for those who relate.

Phil’s first collection – Waiting for the Light – is also available from Amazon, along with a music CD of the same name featuring poetry set to music (see below).

a life of music

Where would we be without music? A life without music is unimaginable.

Plato said “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”

a life of poetry

Nietzsche had a good point: “Poets are shameless with their experiences: they exploit them.”

Phil’s poetry is a marvellous mixture of lived experience and flights of fancy, spanning a lifetime of taking chances, questioning the system and trying to live life his own way.
